If you are on a shopping spree, Gardens Centre Holiday Apartments could not be more perfect. Our accommodation is located in the tower above Gardens Shopping Centre, where you can purchase food, clothes, books, local produce, artisanal products, art, and jewellery, to name a few. You can also visit one of the restaurants and cafes in the centre. The popular shopping, eating, and entertainment streets of Bree Street, Loop Street, Long Street, and Kloof Street are right around the corner. Cape Town is also home to excellent markets, where you can buy fresh, local produce and artisanal products, as well as some vibey bars where you can grab a drink. No matter what your needs are, they will be met due to Gardens’ ideal location.

With Table Mountain looming over Gardens, Cape Town’s biggest tourist attraction is right on our doorstep. Take the cable car up, or if you’re feeling adventurous, you can hike to the top. There are also many other great hiking trails near our accommodation. The V&A Waterfront, with many great stores, the Two Oceans Aquarium, and various boat trips, is only a 10-minute drive away. Camps Bay and the Clifton beaches are also only 10 minutes away, meaning you can be out of bed and in the sea quickly. The Company’s Gardens is home to the Iziko South African Museum and the South African National Gallery and can be reached by foot within 10 minutes, or by car in 5. There are some excellent picnic spots and parks near our apartments, as well as excellent places to watch the sunset. For our business travellers, the Cape Town International Convention Centre is 15 minutes away and the Cape Town CBD is less than 5 minutes away.

Cape Town city centre is relatively easy to walk, but if you would prefer taking public transport, the MyCiTi buses are a great option. There are three routes which stop near Gardens Shopping Centre, which takes you further into town. Here you can get connections to most places within Cape Town centre and even go as far as Hout Bay and Atlantis. One line even passes right by Cape Town International Airport.
